What is wrong with Windows 10

I have never seen as many negative comments about any OS as there are about Windows 10. What is wrong with that OS. There seem to be also quite a few people who are happy with it but the negative crowd is very vocal and visible. I myself do not run Windows 10. I only have a copy of it in virtual - for observation.

Most people that like something usually say very little or nothing at all, but people that don't like something or some feature are very vocal, People that wear tin foil hats are like a terrorist stalker.

Every OS that ever came out has more people posting what they hate about it or how buggy it is, Even the beloved XP

At least initially Windows 10 is geared towards the general consumer and not so much towards the business. Windows 10 is a work in progress though, much more frequent major updates and getting better all the time.

The only thing I did not like in Windows 10 was the same old yellow folders that are years old (but there easy to change) everything else ... love it, Windows 10 Pro on two desktops and no problems, better then Windows 7 for me :)

The big argument I've seen is that people that don't want to switch are getting bombarded on an almost spam scale with ads to update. And that's what's setting some people off. MS should have made it simple with an either YES or NO button & then left it at that.

I have no gripes aside from that issue. Runs fast & no major problems....so far (knock on wood ) But aside from running 10 Pro, I also want to retain my 8.1 Pro, 7 32 & 7 64 Pro OS's. If MS would step down their barrage of trying to get everyone over to 10, that would be great. As with every OS, some people aren't going to want it or they want to wait.

And as everything else, this is just a passing thing. In 5 yrs (or less), we'll probably see a newer OS & then the debacle will start all over again.

I also want to keep Win7 so between Dell and Win10 I can't Upgrade a Dell Latitude D810 Notebook because there's no Win10 drivers for the video adapter and it can't be changed. Guess that's an unintended bonus.

I can't upgrade my 7 desktop as the CPU is not compatible so that means I still have 7 to play with when I'm not on my 10 Notebook.

Hello enemies and friends of W10!
(sorry for bad-poor english ..bla..bla..bliah.. I'll try my best )
I wanted opinions from tech-guru people about W10. Like Brink and many others who write the tutorials. (but I'm not going to give more names because for sure I'll forget many.. as the most of you are technological-literate)
It would be very interesting and important because only a technician can know better if W10 is a step forward or back in comparison to W7.

If there are things you cannot do or if there are new actions which the older Os cannot do.
(I don't mean actions like buying apps from M$ store of course...)

For me, W7 is better and truly i'm in a very bad situation. My 2 laptops was with W7 and I could make easily everything I wanted.
The first laptop have been stolen and the second is dead cause my coffee visit it .
Now I lost the feeling to buy a new just because all are coming with W10...

To be honest I don't know well the new OS (few days only I "play" with it) and that's why I need opinions from people who can have a deeper look and knowledge about.
So please give us the TRUE. In what is better W10?

From my side I haven't like it because I couldn't personalize it (fonts, colors, 'aero',etc.), I felt more controlled (accounds, cortana etc ) and
generally I found it too much stabilize (I mean in many settings it gives some possibilities but not the freedom to really change everything in the way you like.)
W7 is fantastic for what you can do.. eg. you can have different fonts in titles, others in menu, different colors for the fonts, for windows, panes, boarders etc.. there was times I could just look to the screen and be satisfied like if I was looking to a great painting..

I suppose limitations came because they wanted an OS compatible with iphones and tablets which don't have enough resources(?), otherwise I cannot understand why they took this backward way to limit capabilities
So I'm very interesting to hear your opinions but not with reasons like "every newest OS is better" or "the future will be focus to the new OS"..
I'm expecting more eg 1)W7 cannot do that.. 2)in W10 is very easy to do this in comparison to W7 ...
Also I must say that I haven't pass from W8 and W8.1, and I'm very curious 'What they did all this time? In what they progress the OS?
Just to discover metro and an easy for iphones and for not tech-literate users, way to use Windows? Did they just focus to the touch screens? or Am I missing episodes? Am I blind? Deaf?
Heeeelp! Tell me what so many years did all employees of M$ company!

Thank you, have a good time and never forget "life is very sort"...(..no time for using an ugly OS because the market wanted!..)

[don't take me very seriously ok? I'm somehow joking.. I believe soon I'll be with a new W10 laptop...
I'm thinking for Msi GT72 Dominator! it comes with great hardware. If someone got it, it would be valuable his-her experiences]

There are good refurbished Windows 7 laptops in the market. Example:

    Thank you Whs.
Unfortunately I'm living in Greece. After the crisis and capitals control there are not many chances in the market.
New laptops with newest components are W10. eg. Skylake is not compatible with W7... Anyway there are always solutions....
I wanted more comparison of the 2 Os (as the thread is about "what is wrong...")
Thanks for the time you spend.
