    Surface 3 as a Desktop

    This is why I think the Surface tablets will replace Desktops for normal use!

    I forgot;

    I can then use the MS DISPLAY ADAPTER & use my Monitor or TV for a larger screen!

    hmm that looks like a good possible desktop solution expecilly if you don't have a lot of room.

    I see nothing that helps with running intensive games without problems

    Gamming is a different ball game! As I mentioned "Normal home use"!

    A true gamer would not have that mess on his desktop!
    He would have assembled a desktop computer to his spec & be very proud of it!

    I have assembled my own desktops from day one!
    I built one just for Win10 Beta!
    All have SSD drives!

    I still say Desktop computers are obsolete for non gamers!

    But my definition of normal use is gaming
    My opinion of "normal use" is that it is a little too general, it could be a lot of things.

    I totally agree, but I have been telling people to do this with there laptops for years now ,but they wouldn't listen either.
    sometime in my future my main computer might be one of my Raspberry Pi's, the pi is the small box on left side by the keyboard

    me too, and if It comes to it being my only desktop I'm fine with that ,just add I'm not a gamer, and don't consider gaming normal use, solitaire and card games maybe ,,,but when someone says I'm a Gamer, Cards and solitaire don't come to mind.

    my Pi device above has a 15.4 laptop screen, almost full size keyboard,and can be hooked hdmi to a tv or hdmi monitor ,plenty big enough
