    Home Remedies?

First off, Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Secondly, do any of you have some good home remedies for a sore throat? I can't go to a drug store, since it's Christmas, but I thought I might ask here if any of you happened to know of any good cures I could make at home.

Thanks and I hope no one else is sick

Whiskey and Honey works quite well as labeeman has mentioned, failing a lack of whiskey or honey or both, you can also use warm milk and honey, warm milk on it's own or even just a couple of shots of whiskey (but that more or less just gets you drunk).

but over everything else, try and stay hydrated.

Thanks! I'm afraid I don't have any whiskey and strangely I'm all out of honey!

I'll try the warm milk! :)

A healthy dose of apple cider vinegar and a couple shots of Vodka will "cure" most anything.

I have a very, very good recipe given to me by an oral surgeon. No booze............sorry.

    2 tsp apple cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cut of warm water.

Gargle with it several times a day. It's good for any problems in the mouth. I keep it in the fridge and warm it in the microwave.

Just curious Emma. Do you make that with an organic apple cider vinegar? I've read that raw, unfiltered, organic apple cider vinegar is the best for you and that is what I use.
