I have a fan controller arriving tomorrow. I recently put 3 more fans in my case (making for a total of 6 case fans). All the fans running full throttle is kind of loud, so I am looking forward to it getting here.

Just started fiddling around with it. I've disabled all those noises, and pretty much set it up the way I like it.

Yesterday I was in BestBuy to pick-up my online reservation. I showed the guy the email confirmation on my phone and the guy stared for about 30sec on my phone. I thought he was looking at the email. Then he asked "Is that the 1520?" I said yes. And then he said.. "Can I see the email message again?"... hahaha.. he didn't read the email the first time. He just checked out my phone.

Someone mentioned in a thread that Office Depot recently had 128 GB Sandisk Ultra flash drives on sale for $29.

I reckon this will be better (more convenient) for porting full disk images from multiple household machines to my desktop multi-TB drives than the mostly wireless network at home.

P.S. At least, that's what I'll tell wifey if questioned on the expenditure.

Yep. Turning them all down a bit cut down on the noise a lot, while temps stayed about the same.
