I got these today so I now have a gigabit connection between me and the NAS. Pity they don't increase your internet speed! However I have reduced the ping from around 50ms down to 15ms!

Ordered the Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000 AC router to replace my old one for better coverage. It should be arriving today.

If your getting poor wifi signal perhaps you ought to consider powerline adapters Sean!

    Nice one!

I agree with powerline adapters too. Wired internet anywhere! :)

    Great buy!
    I have 4 gigabit unit's too. One with built-in wireless router/AP. :)
What I did, I connected on of the adapters to a second gigabit dual band router as access point on another room. Zero dead spot at home. :)

That's exactly what I did. I had poor wi-fi in the basement, so I hooked up my old router to a powerline adapter and have a strong signal in the basement now. In my case, I also I connect my Roku and PS3 to the router with CAT-5.

I have an onboard killer gigabit chip and an added gigabit nic card, I tried bridging them in the hopes of getting 2gb connection but I don't think you can go higher than 1 gigabit atm.

Main dual-band router (ASUS RT-N65U) and Linksys N2600 dual band access point on powerline adapter in another room, it's all full bar in the middle of the house.. :)

These weird Samsung noises are getting on my nerves... sounds like something for a 5 year old.
