why does it still mention IEspell when you use the spellcheck button?

    why does it still mention IEspell when you use the spellcheck button?


    i'm on IE and the spellcheck button is completely useless as iespell doesn't really exist (the iespell website also redirects to some contract manager that i don't even think is worth trusting) so why does it still mention IEspell? is it because of the forum software or because nobody uses the forums on IE?

    Nobody in 2023 should be using Internet Explorer, so nobody should see that button.

Spellcheck doesn't work

I've developed a very strange problem. My spellcheck does not work no matter where I'm writing...Facebook, OpenOffice, here on this forum. Watch. liphggtrb. What I just wrote was not redlined...same everywhere. Any ideas?
Since upgrading to Win 10 recently it takes PC about 20mins plus to start (window and revolving wheel ) then log in /admin password enter --and it then runs OK I can live with it at worst ( make a cup o coffee and toast ) and then put it to sleep...
No Spellcheck in Wordpad?

Is there a way to enable spellcheck in Windows WordPad? If there is, I can't find it. I just finished writing a long narrative, which had a few typos in it. Spellcheck would have been handy. :(
