Free program which can delete PDF pages???

I tried like 20 all either don't work, or they are paid! One paid program could delete page, it is not issue with PDF file, it is not locked! I Am not interested about lists I can find this on my own, I can't find anything which would work, it is insane!

    Solved!

    PDF Split and Merge.

It actually does not have a direct delete page function on free version but you can still do it by using merge function.

Suppose you have a 5 page pdf and want to delete page 2, you put same file twice in merger list e.g.

    name , pages to merge

    myfile.pdf 1
    myfile.pdf 3-5

So you are telling it to keep pages 1, 3,4 and 5 which is same as deleting page 2.

Actually it's not insane. Software sellers like Adobe make available programs that can create the files/documents needed the provide free Reader program for folks to use those files. As I recall from early '90s [but maybe earlier] Adobe created Acrobat for companies with various offices around the country with diverse programs such as some would have Lotus AmiPro/WordPro, some would have Word and some would have WordPerfect but most at the time could not use competing formats. Acrobat could be used to create or convert to one format [PDF Portable Document Format] and made the free Acrobat Reader available, companies could send out the Reader and documents such as contracts, employment forms, company policies, etc., and all offices could read the same things. Of benefit was the security in preventing others from changing things.

Creators make money from their software and need to pay the programmers, same for updating software, particularly for printers which when no longer produced bring in no more money and they can't take money from newer products for fixing older products. Some call it "planned obsolescence" but it really isn't.

If you have a relatively new version of Word installed then that can edit PDF's quite well.

Care to share what you found? Like other forums this is a two-way street, share solutions for others to try.

I'm eager to know as well since I've been relying on paid software to edit, organize, and Cloud-share PDFs without making a mess. Granted, I do scan tons of docs every single day, so without such apps I'll get swamped real fast. I've been using FileCenter for automated routing of PDFs or searching their content by phrases and keywords. So, that is far more complicated than simply removing something from the doc, but perhaps that's why the software isn't free (nor expensive, luckily)
