    No response to questions

I've posted a bunch of questions since I upgraded to Windows 10. I was anticipating getting nearly immediate, helpful responses to my questions, as I've consistently gotten in the Windows 7 forum. But here the responses have been far fewer. I'm disappointed. Perhaps my expectations are way off.

If there's something I don't know that's preventing responses to my questions, then I'd appreciate someone telling me. Perhaps this is a "don't know what I don't know" situation. Perhaps this forum isn't as well-populated as the Windows 7 forum and therefore responses are fewer. Did I unknowingly break a forum rule? Are my questions too simple and should I find the answers elsewhere? Again, if there's something "I don't know that I don't know," I'd appreciate someone telling me.

    Thanks.

I guess it's because at the moment there are a huge bunch of users out there who've just upgraded (or tried to upgrade) to Windows 10, and therefore a very untypical peak in the pattern of questions and threads on the forums.

For instance there are a lot of threads about activation/ installation etc. at the moment.

Also it takes time to build a community of Windows 10 users so perhaps there aren't so many people out there who know the answers yet, especially on new features where the answers need to be discovered.

Thanks, DavidY. That sounds reasonable. Now that I think of it, I arrived at the Windows 7 forum late, and it was a bustling, strongly populated group already when I came along. I guess I need to adjust my expectations. Actually, I'm glad this is the case! Thanks again.
