Been using all in one computers now for almost thirty years. My first one was a Commodore 64 that i purchased way back when for a Christmas gift for my two sons. From that I moved from the Commodore to a Mac Plus, and stayed with the mac all in ones for many years. This past October I replaced my old iMac 27 (Sept 2009) with a new iMac 27 (Oct 2013. Now over the past couple of months I have been looking at some of the Windows all in ones that are now available. I have been looking really hard at the Dell and Hp models, and have Been leaning toward the Dell 27" with the 2650 X 1440 display similar to the iMac 27. Just wondering if any one here has either purchased one or have been thinking as I have at a possible purchase of one of the Window models.

    Lee,
The all in ones are nice but after a short time the touch screen becomes a pain in the arm so they go get a mouse and are happy again. That's my HO which changes frequently.

I know I have not been much help but you should go and check each one out at a box store to get an idea that suites you. Just make sure you check on the Return Policy for how long and what cost to return that item as some charge a 15% Return to Stock.

Best of luck in you search for a new computer.
I am looking to buy a Garmin, Sky Caddie GPS golf watch but waiting for the prices to drops some more.

Found the one I wanted, and will have it by Tuesday Link. This is really sweet, would even say as nice as my iMac 27" just not as fast. As to touch screen it really makes no difference. Macs do not have touch screens. Put this model does, and if you watch the video you will see it has a great screen aliment setup (key reason for buying this model. As to whether I use the touch screen that is yet to be decided (never been big on the idea. If you click on the screen image it will take you to more images and a video (watch the video to get a good idea how you can arrange the screen.

Must the courses I play at usually have GPS golf caddies built into their motorized carts, albeit even in my present condition I still walk, however like you this is now on my mind. Because of the stokes I find it harder to determine distance (still rely on course markers)' thus probably by late spring I will have a GPS of some kind.

My neighbour has an HP All-in-One, she prefers using a Mouse and Keyboard and would complain about the Touch screen opening things she didn't want if she happened to catch it.
I think she mainly uses it for watching Television but does do a few emails and goes online a bit, she's in her mid 80's

I've got a couple of AIO's here, my little girl has a Sony Vio AIO and I've just bought Angie a Samsung I think they are great machines for the non-power user.

On black Friday they had a few at very reasonable prices (mid 300's). With keyboard, mouse and stylus they should be OK. But they are usually poor in number ports and you cannot really upgrade them like a desktop.

Use ultra-sensitive intuitive 10-finger touch control
Will be interesting to see what it does if you flip it the bird

I actually like the all-in-ones. Would consider getting one when my current rig packs up. And I would definitely get mouse and keyboard too... touch screen just ain't my thing...
