Avoiding something
In the US, we drive on the right hand side of the road. If there was something in the middle of the road preventing you from going forward, what would you do?

It has to do with 2 cars, one going straight and the other taking a left hand turn. One has to do with crossing over a double set of yellow lines completely on the wrong side of the road while the other was a third of the way over the same double lines when they collided.
Any more responses are welcome.
If the car that was not turning was over the double yellow lines then that car was not in the proper lane. To make a turn at an intersection the turning car has no choice but to cross the lines. I do not know what state this was in but where I live at an intersection the yellow lines are not there.
