    ks.sys BSOD when connecting intergrated webcam for Dell SP2208WFP



    Hi all,


    Everytime I plug in my webcam for my monitor (dell SP2208WFP) I am getting
    a BSOD with the error above. I am not sure which part is causing the BSOD
    because this monitor has a builtin webcam + mic and 4x usb ports.


    I've downloaded the latest driver for this device and installed it =, but
    the problem isn't fixed when this is done. As soon as I plugin the webcam
    the computer crashes and has to restart:

    I've read some posts on disabling some drivers in order to work around the
    problem, I don't know exactly what I need to disable. I'm also not finding
    the webcam in "Imaging devices", not sure where it is in the device
    manager.


    Any help appreciated.

    Hmm I don't know that I'm comfortable doing that. If I upload the zip file will everyone be able to access it?
