Please check if there is an option in the BIOS for AHCI and change it to IDE or ATA (not sure), if it doesn't help then boot first back in the BIOS and revert the change(s) to prevent any possible issues with booting.

It didn't work. Seatools wouldn't even run in that mode.

A friend of mine said that the battery in the motherboard might be running out of charge and forgetting that I have drives, thus causing my PC to freeze. Is this a possibility?

Are there problems with the time?

If you mean the clock, no. It's fine.

A main occuring symptom when the CMOS battery is failing is time problems, if there are no problems with the time then it is likely also no problem with the CMOS battery.

Currently I don't have any more advice for the Seatools DOS problem, what's the result with the SeaTools Windows version?

It said all was fine. I've noticed a pattern that my PC is freezing at 2AM every night.
