Mmm, I'm gonna try that once I can fix my desktop computer since I don't really have an external harddrive... That's gonna be a while from now since we can't find any bubble wrap to send the desktop in to get fixed.

Oh yeah. The refreshing windows thing. I remember wanting to try that a while back. Don't remember my keyboard or mouse even being able to work in it...

If you have a wireless k3eyboard and mouse then you may need to use USB ones until the refresh is completed.

Hmm... Actually, it's my USB devices that all quit working. But I'm gonna try to get it to work. Thank you so much!

If you are plugging them into USB3 ports, try USB2. Not sure how many or type of USB ports your laptop has.

Edit: According to the specs you have 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 USB 2.0 port (powered) so the USB 3.0 ports should be okay.

Oooh, thank you! I'm gonna try this tomorrow morning.

Edit: The USB 3.0 ports are the ones with the blue female ends right?

Alright so, I didn't get around to doing that thing you said with refreshing Windows, but the computer did bluescreen again and I think the dump file has info in it this time and didn't get overwritten. I'm to attach the dump file right here right? It's not letting me attach the dump file... I'm gonna save it just in case something happens to it.

    Attached dump file.

    The 8/25 dump shows:
    Code:
    BugCheck EA, {ffffb00226c957c0, 0, 0, 0}
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmdag.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmdag.sys
    DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: GRAPHICS_DRIVER_FAULT

atikmdag.sys is part of the driver for your AMD Radeon HD 8330. The one installed is:

    11/29/2015 11:09:55 PM C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\atikmdag.sys

which is fairly ol;d for Win 10. Try the driver form here: APU

That's really unusual given I just went on that site and updated drivers... I'm gonna do as you ask and see how it works.

Any idea why it didn't update that part of my drivers when I did this before? I did it just a few days ago.

It's possible that file was not recompiled as part of the update.
