BSOD after installing new Windows 10 updates 08/13/2016

The problem seemed to have started when I downloaded and installed the new Windows 10 security updates. Nothing really triggers the BSOD, and it normally happens about 5 minutes from booting Windows to the Desktop. I just uninstalled the updates and so far so good. I wan to make sure that it was the updates and not something else (Driver, 3rd party program). I actually BSOD'd while trying to submit this ticket. Thank you for your help.

Please uninstall Avast and use Windows Defender as alternative while troubleshooting.

After a long day of troubleshooting, finally got my computer back to normal. Apparently, the new Anniversary Update for Windows is destroying people's computers. For me it was random BSOD's and crashes.

I uninstalled practically every 3rd party software which I thought was causing the error but did nothing, BSOD's which caused my computer to boot incorrectly.

I reverted to an the earlier build Version 1511 which solved the BSOD's and crashes but then my keyboard driver got corrupted in the process. Tried reinstalling, disabling-enabling the driver and modifying the registry to fix the issue, no cheese.

Decided to reinstall Windows from the boot disk I bought with my computer. Fixed the keyboard issue, but then I took several minutes to boot and reboot. Couldn't even open the task manager. Couldn't open any software when prompted the yes or no security question.

Last ditch effort, I installed the available Windows updates (miraculously the Anniversary update wasn't included) and now she purrs like a kitten.

I want to thank you and everyone else for helping me out. I know you didn't do much but knowing you guys can help with certain issues is really just plain out awesome! Thanks!
