You are correct. Typo on my part. I ran chkdsk c: /r without any errors.

This is a bit of a standard thing, but many recommend to run the chkdsk command a few times, so do I. Running it multiple times affects the file system in a positive way :)

Another crash. Bugcheck 0xa. Attached is latest dm_log_collector. I will start running verifier to try and track down the driver. I have not had much luck with this process.

Please check the settings of driver verifier, the dump shows that it is not proper.

I haven't started verifier yet. But I did try sfc /scannow and dism /online /update_image /restorehealth both failed. Log files are attached.

Normally when this happens I just do a clean install and start over.

I'll wait this time on your suggestion.

    Thanks.

Please read this post, download the tool and download the setup media.
Run the tool as admin and choose option 3 after the download of the setup media is done and the setup media is mounted.

I set up verifier. The system would boot and I could login. But when I tried to bring up anything, windows explorer, notifications, .... the system would reboot.

But no crash logs were created. I had to disable verifier from safe mode. (That usually doesn't happen).

I will follow your suggestion about SFC and DISM and let you know how everything works out.
