My ASUS motherboard is reporting a status code 33 which means testing memory address lines. This is going to be interesting.

Not just kidding it is going to take awhile, 3 passes, no errors detected, at 9 hours. 🤔

8 passes is what you need? I am 17% into the 7th pass at 22 hours 50 min, no faults so far.

OK, let the 7th pass complete, then take a camera snap and stop testing.

So the first (and the major) possibility is now cancelled.

At the next step, please disable XMP and let the RAM run at its base speed, which should be 1333 MHz.

If it still causes a BSOD with XMP disabled, enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

    information   Information
    Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

    warning   Warning
Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

    Tip   Tip

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

Arc My thanks, I was not aware that my the A-Data memory sticks where overclocked. Did a quick education on that little detail. turned off the XMP setting and went to manual, and manually set the DRAM at 1333 MHz which is plenty fast enough. I am not a fan of overclocking. I built this PC to be my last one. It is far more powerful then I actually need. I think back on my first computer a Sinclair ZX81 I assembled in 1982. ZX80 CPU 3.25 MHz clock speed, 1 KB internal memory and up to 64KB max with a cassette drive. We used them to point, and track great big telescopes on mountain tops.

Had a BSOD before I came here an APC Index Mismatch, Microsoft support mentioned Video drivers I checked and my Radeon graphics card had an update, dated 5 June, 2016. The auto notice of an update was not working.
