    Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal bsod

    Hi forums,

This issue has been bugging me for awhile now. This blue screen happens only when I am streaming to Twitch using OBS. I noticed that the issue usually occurs when I leave the TwitchAlerts desktop app open. However, I believe that I did not have it open today. After doing some research, I believe it is the network driver that is causing the issue. However, it seems that it is up to date according to the Atheros website that I visited. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The dump indicates L1C63x64.sys as the cause. This belongs to your Qualcom Atheros driver. It's pretty old.

    Timestamp: Tue Jul 16 02:56:31 2013

    Also flagged is this:
    Code:
    ffffd000`2498a488 fffff800`18ed3700Unable to load image VBoxNetLwf.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for VBoxNetLwf.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for VBoxNetLwf.sys
     VBoxNetLwf+0x3700
vboxnetlwf.sys is part of Oracle VM VirtualBox and developed by Oracle Corporation according to the vboxnetlwf.sys version information.
vboxnetlwf.sys's description is "VirtualBox NDIS 6.0 Lightweight Filter Driver"
Try upgrading to the latest version of Oracle VirtualBox. If you're not using it, uninstall it.

See if that helps. May be that is the real culprit and the Atheros driver is okay. If not, you can usually replace the wireless card in your laptop fairly easily. It depends on the design and what access hatches are provided.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a place I can get the new Atheros drivers? https://www.atheros.cz/ Seems to be down for me and QUALCOMM / ATHEROS drivers for Microsoft Windows (Atheros的驅動程序) seems to have the same version that I do unless I am looking at the wrong one.

I went ahead and updated my VirtualBox as well.

EDIT: Actually I just uninstalled VirtualBox since I don't think I will be needing it anymore so that can be ruled out now.

I don't find any where to get a newer driver for your Qualcom WiFi device.

Now that you removed Oracle VirtualBox, the problem may be resolved. Run for awhile and see if any more problems occur.
