It refers to the BIOS causing memory corruption, replacing the memory doesn't help regarding the BIOS corrupting it.
Be sure to change the OS at the support page to Windows 7, there it does have a BIOS update.
Removing the devices from device manager will reinstall them after a reboot what isn't what we need, we need to have them physically disconnected from the laptop.I am assuming that you meant removing the unnecessary USB devices from the device manager.
