Several Kernel Errors within a day?

The activation is in most cases an upgrade, with the upgrade the hardware of the user is registered on the servers of Microsoft. This registration is called a digital entitlement. When you perform a reinstallation Windows checks the servers of Microsoft to see if any digital entitlement is present and if the right OS is installed that is with the digital entitlement, if all is fine Windows is activated without entering a key. This all makes that you can reinstall Windows an infinity amount without any activation issues :)

BUT, when a motherboard is changed it is seen as a new system and then you have to input a key when installing.

Anything from Windows will be put back yes, if you've made configuration changes those will be lost.

There is only 1 thing I want to mention specificly that is also mentioned in the tutorial:

If you have more than one partition for a Drive # (hard drive) listed and want to get rid of all of them to make that disk # one single partition drive again, then select a partition with that disk # and click on the Delete option for each partition with the same Drive # until there is only one "unallocated space" with that Drive # left as in the screenshot below.

When you select on what partition you want to install Windows, delete all partitions until there is 1 'unallocated space' partition left, then select this partition and continue, by doing this you perform a clean installation without taking anything with you from the previous installation which is what we want.

Windows creates 3 partitions with the setup:

1. C: partition,
2. Recovery partition &
3. EFI partition

the EFI partition is required for boot with UEFI.

The only reason I can think of why that would happen is when there are 2 drives connected.

I would first make sure that only 1 drive is connected, I've seen a few times an installation going wrong due to multiple drives connected (don't ask why or how)
