    BSOD KMODE_Exception_Not_Handled (mv91xx.sys)

BSOD with above error code happening.

Report attached. Original topic can be found BSOD KMODE_Exception_Not_Handled (mv91xx.sys)

System specs are in my profile. Upgraded hard drive since my original post. Marvel driver is up to date as far as I can tell.

    Thanks

The Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller is causing the BSODs.
    Code:
    BugCheck 1E, {ffffffff80000003, fffff801bf2d178e, 0, ffffe0011afc1560}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for mv91xx.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for mv91xx.sys
    Probably caused by : mv91xx.sys ( mv91xx+3178e )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
    Because they are too old.
    Code:
        Image name: mv91xx.sys
Browse all global symbols functions data
        Timestamp: Fri Aug 27 15:19:22 2010
I would not suggest to update it, but would suggest to avoid Marvell; because those controllers are known to be unstable.

Open the computer. Look at your motherboard ..... where the SATA cables are connected to the board. These two navy blue ports are Marvell.

The two gray ports below those are Intel ports with equal specs; and the four light blue ports are sata 3GBPS ports, having a little less data speed.

Remove the SATA cables from those Navy blue ports. Connect those (you have two disks as I can see) to the gray ports.

Now see how it goes. Let us know.

I've tried to update the Marvel drivers more than once so surprised they are old. Although admittedly I could never find windows 10 ones.

I've taken your advice and switched to the grey ports. I'll report back in a few days to advise how it's gone.

    Thanks for the help

Marked as solved as this looks to have been successful.
