Thanks that worked! Memtest is running. So do I just leave it alone all night now? And can i close my laptop while its running?

Just keep it running and don't close it, it should take about 8-10h but may take longer.

I would plugin the charger yes, I guess your laptop can't be on for 8h with the battery only.

If you haven't read the tutorial proper:

If you see errors, you can stop the test and do a few things
    1. Return the laptop if there is warranty
    2. Remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.

If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

And if it doesn't show any errors, will the bsod error stop?

If it doesn't show errors, it indiciates your memory is fine.
This is only a diagnostic test, not a fix for the BSOD.

    I've re-read your OP a few times
I can't do a system restore, boot into safe mode
This means either your installation is corrupted (usually not the case) or hardware damage (more frequently occuring)
If MemTest86+ gives zero errors, you can try following
    • test your hard drive via a few ways, also offline,
    • clean install Windows 10 all over again

Unfortunately there are no offline (not in Windows) tests for the rest of a system, if all above doesn't help you need to either use your warranty if possible or replace the laptop.
