Please run the tests :)
When I try the chkdsk command "chkdsk C: /f /r it says: the type of the file is ntfs
Cannot lock current drive
Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts (y/n).
I press y and restart but that causes a bsod
If chkdsk gets stuck what should i do? It keeps getting stuck at 17%. I guess ill just leave it running for a few hours and see if it moves past 17. chkdsk didn't really work out for me now I'm gonna try the seatools

What do you mean it didn't work out? It didn't finish?
Please note that chkdsk may take a few hours to several hours to finish depending on how much it has to do and how large the size of the partition is.
Well first when I tried to run the chkdsk command and then restart it caused another bsod. After restarting from the bsod it was checking the drive but got stuck at 17% then it shut down
Do you think I should just take my laptop in to a computer repair shop, or is this fixable on my own?
So should I skip the chkdsk and just run seatools?
Ok I'm running seatools for dos now, ill write back when its done. I am running the short test.
