Try a newer version of Nvidia, use DDU to uninstall the installed one.
If a newer version doesn't help, try an older one, or the same you're currently have installed and let me know how it goes.
Used DDU to remove and clean installed latest drivers (3/8: v364.51). Will update in a few days if no problems.
Remember that I already tried an earlier version (the one from December) and had the same issue.
I know, but trying a few versions is enough to determine if the problem is the card itself or the drivers :)
I have exactly the same symtoms as the OP, and I have tried multiple geforce drivers and the symptoms keep coming back randomly. Sometimes my PC will run fine for 2 weeks straight, but the graphics artifacts will return as soon as I restart windows. I understand that's an old thread, but that's the only thread that matches the problem I'm experiencing. I wonder if the OP ever got to the bottom of the issue.
Just wanted to get back here to update. I pulled out my card and plugged into on-board graphics and the artifacts went away and I haven't crashed since. This was a couple months ago now. Haven't yet bought a new card, but when I do I'll know 100% (I figure there is still a very small possibility that it was the slot on the MB).
