    BSOD might be vmware

Hi Folks, New Guy. I've been running windows 10 for 5-6 months and recently had two bsod. I know it sounds funny but it seems to happen when resizing my vmware window. I have vmware 10.0.7. The info file is attached. Appreciate any help. Joe

Please update your VMware, VMware uses several old drivers.
Please check HP for driver updates.

    vmware and drivers

HP Support Assistant says my drivers and current. I was running vmware 10 and 12 is current (claiming support for windows 10). I'll put that on and let you know if I see any other BSOD.
    Thanks for the help!

Please check manual for drivers, some of your drivers do not look updated for Windows 10.

    drivers

    Hi Axe0,
I ran HP support assistant and driver detective and all the drivers are current according to them. One strange thing: I got an email from HP with a critical driver update today for the intel video driver. I installed and I got a BSOD when I pushed the restart button at the end of the install. Seems to be working ok.

Please check manually for driver updates, do NOT use any program for this.
Programs, even from the manufacturer, can't be trusted for 100% because there'll always be a bug somewhere that interferes with the process. To prevent any trouble and to make sure it is done properly install the drivers manually.
