    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (win32kfull.sys), atikmdag.sys, etc

    Attachment 55791

I've been getting blue screens frequently since I've built my computer. They included system service exception, kmode exception not handled, all that fun stuff. Earlier this month it was crashing every few minutes, and it seems I've narrowed it down to a couple times a day. These crashes usually happen when I'm playing video games or have a lot of windows open at once.

From the most recent minidumps it seems like the problems are from Win32kfull.sys (Full/Desktop Win32k Kernel Driver) and atikmdag.sys (ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver).

Before my most recent crash I had already used AMDs clean uninstall and reinstalled the graphics drivers.
I'm 99% sure I updated all of my other drivers as well.

After a lot of searching, I haven't been able to find a solution for this yet. Any help would be VERY appreciated

Recommended to remove every ASUS software if any is present.

Remove Intel Rapid Storage Technology applications.
    1. Uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features.
    2. Uninstall the driver from device manager:
    - Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
    - In the "Computer Management" window that opens:
    - Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices.
    - Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
    - Select one Intel device item under it, right click, then uninstall.
    - Repeat the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
    3. Now restart the computer.
    4. Once booted, Windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.

Please uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from AMD. Be sure to ONLY install the drivers using custom/advanced options.

I went through all of those steps and it seemed to work for a while. After using the pc for a couple days, I got a new crash error: "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". My crash dumps are still turned on but it didn't save anything in the folder.

Here's a new file in case it might help. Attachment 56566

    warning   Warning
Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
If you have installed any driver with DriverAssist, please remove them as it may cause trouble.

Oops, just saw this. I don't quite remember the details but DriverAssist messed some stuff up.

Also, I'm back with more problems . Should I start a new thread or just continue here?

I went over a week without crashing then it started up again. The new errors are things like "irql not less than or equal", "memory management", "driver overran stack buffer", and "system service exception Npfs.sys". There are new dump files from January 10th to the 12th.
