    "Random" BSODs

    Hello,

For the past few weeks I have been getting BSODs that occur 0-3 times a day. I have not changed any hardware just before it started happening. It doesn't seem to happen with any particular software/game open, it's happened when I've been in a game on Steam; when I'm browsing on Chrome and when I've been tabbed into Skype.

I have noticed something weird recently however. Skype has had random moments of crashing/lag. I will say every time a BSOD has happened Skype would've been open. Just a few hours ago for example, Skype crashed 3 times repeatedly within 5 secs of opening it, then on the 4th try it worked fined. I have made sure Skype is the latest version. However, I believe Skype may be a red-herring.

Something makes me think it may be my RAM, but I'm not up for the lengthy RAM testing yet without any advice first.

I greatly appreciate any help, thanks.

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.
