I canīt see much there - and the battery does register charging when it is plugged in.

If I can see it charging from 85-100% (icon in my tray), does that demonstrate that the connection is fine?

One interesting note is the fact that the laptop shuts down and then shows 85% charge when restarted, so I cannot get the battery to drain below 85% at this point - at 85%, the laptop turns off with no battery warning or any other warning notification.

In the past, I could drain the battery down to 10%, then recharge.

Please read Battery Usage Report - Generate in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums and upload the file, prefered an HTML file.
Regarding the duration you need to specify, please choose 14.

Upload an HTML file instead of DOC, makes it more readable :)

Looks like we are stumped on this issue, yes?

Iīm suprised, do the event logs and reports that I posted give any indication of whatīs going on?

Thanks for your time and efforts

You don't have to upload it directly
    Use a 3rd party uploader.
