rebooting while playing videos or netflix

Hi, I upgraded my mobo from a 770t to a new GA-970a-us3p. Ever since then I've been getting reboots when I play a video or netflix. I've tried:
prime95 stress test with no problems,
    memtest with no problems
    updated the drivers
    updated the bios to fb
replaced the video card and power supply (I wanted to do that anyways)
    re-seated cpu and memory
updated from win 7 to 10
disable the audio from bios with no change
Furmark ran for about 90 minutes without difficulty
HWMonitor showed cpu at max of 62 and gpu max of 60. tmpin1 was highest at 72

I'm thinking I'm looking at a bad board, but if someone could walk me through diagnosing it on Windows 10 I feel like it would be a valuable skill. I haven't used 10 much and this should be a good way for me to get familiar with it (I was comfortable on XP, not so much vista or 7). Attachment 39454Attachment 39454

Time to update my skills, any help is appreciated.

    Hi copracr,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
The zip is empty of dump files.
Please make sure your pc is configured for small dump files How to configure minidump | Windows 10 tutorial

You are likely trying to attach the dump file directly, their extension (.dmp) is not supported for uploading.

Please use the tool again and upload the zip file.

I think it has something to do with the sound. It's crashing during netflix, VLC movie player, pandora on firefox, and occasionally while gaming now

    More with the memory
    Code:
    Probably caused by : memory_corruption
Either a driver is accessing the wrong memory or the memory is giving corrupted data
Please check the memory, if the memory is fine please enable driver verifier

    Diagnostic Test

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

    Diagnostic Test

     DRIVER VERIFIER

    warning   Warning
Please make a backup of your important files and get your rescue media or create one.
    Please create a restore point.

Please follow this tutorial to run driver verifier.

Some windows drivers are blamed in a few crashes, but that usually means that a 3rd party driver is actually the cause.
Driver verifier stresses your drivers and will crash your pc if any driver fails due to a violation.

Driver verifier should be performed for a max of 48 hours, or when you have a bluescreen, whatever comes first.

If driver verifier has found a violation and you can't get back into windows normally, try to boot into safe mode and reset in safe mode driver verifier, or in the troubleshooting options open command prompt and type verifier /reset.

    Note   Note
Your system will act very sluggishly while driver verifier is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.

I will perform the memtest again tonight and let it run all night. I enabled the verifier and had one lock up while playing Bioshock. The game was paused for about 10 minutes and when I returned the speakers were playing electronic static and the PC was completely locked up (the paused game menu was still on the screen)

That is normal when driver verifier is enabled.
While driver verifier is enabled, please use the pc as less as possible.
