Do you have an ISO or an installation USB? If you have an ISO mount it or inset the USB and tell me the drive letter Windows give it. Also look in the sources folder and tell me if you have an install.esd or an install.wim.
Sorry about the delay.. Needed some sleep
I haven't set up an ISO or Installation USB as of yet.. But have been meaning to..
Where abouts do I get the above and what are the instructions on how to set it up? :)
Download from Microsoft techbench (https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/soft...load/techbench) toward the bottom of the page you will select Windows 10, then keep answering the boxes to get the version you have installed. Download the file. In it will be an ISO file. Mount it by double clicking the ISO, the computer will give it a drive letter. I need to know that letter. Look inside and open the Sources folder and find either the install.esd or the install.wim file and tell me which you have. Don't do anything just look for the file. When I get the drive letter and whether you have an install.wim or .esd I will give you another command to run. I'll post it in the morning. It's close to time for me to get some sleep.
I have downloaded the files (both 32-bit and 64-bit as it said to download both of them).. I see no option on mounting the ISO (in the 64-bit one) but I can navigate into the zipped folder itself..
In the sources folder (C:\Users\Home User\Downloads\Win10_English_x64.iso\sources\) I see the file/folder named install.wim.
Can you right click it and select Mount? It must be mounted if you can look in the sources folder. If it is mounted, look in the address bar and you should see a drive letter. See below

I have uploaded some images.. I still see no option to mount anything..

Actually one thing I just noticed.. Last time I was opening the zip file (with 7zip) instead of opening it with windows explorer.. Opening it with windows explorer now gives that DVD Drive (H): address
OK, actually I forgot to tell you it comes in a .ZIP folder. You have to unzip it to get to the ISO file. Don't be too upset if this does not work. It should, but not everyone can run it for some reason. In theory it is supposed to replace / repair damaged system files by comparing your files to the original ISO file. That's a basic explanation.
Right click the start button (flag) select command Prompt (Admin) Copy/paste this into the command window and press enter.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:H:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess
Again, it may take just a few minutes or a couple of hours. But, it will give a success or failure message.
The above command produced a success message :)
Want me to re-run the scannow command to make sure that all is ok?
