updated, I will try the /scannow and chkdsk. btw when i look at my system menu in control panel my laptop is designated as satellite P75-A, but i do not see drivers on the Toshiba website attributed to this laptop, they are all made for A7200 or A7100. I believe that the 7100 is a newer version of the P75-A line, but i am not entirely certain.
    Just a FYI.

    Please check
    • SuperAntiSpyware for software updates,
    • TAP-Windows Adapter V9 and Qualcomm wifi devices for driver updates,
    • MAE for software updates,
    • Toshiba for driver updates

In the BIOS check for the voltage and frequency of the memory and verify it is compatible with the memory itself and the motherboard.

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

I've used windows memory diagnostic before, but not this. I downloaded the file, then double click on everything in there but nothing is working. Readme wasn't clear enough, stuck my dick in a toaster...

EDIT: So how do I get this to run?

So i tried to setup the memtest last night by putting it on a usb, but it did not work for some reason. I ran the memtest program that formats the usb, then attempted to set boot via usb in the BIOS settings menu, then i tried advance startup and picked the uefi usb boot option. Neither worked, gave up last night. So i had another crash today, in response to the error that it could be related to memory, i took out the extra usb sticks that I put in as extra. I have had no crashes as of yet afterwards. I will wait for another crash, i guess.

Please make sure fast boot and secure boot in the BIOS is disabled.

back with new problem and same old.

I have had no problems when running the default ram sticks, but now i am trying to play ARK: Survival Evolved and the video driver crashes very frequently. It only started happening after i hit the 100 hour mark for some odd reason.

I am trying to get the extra sticks to work now, so I inserted the ram sticks and tried to get the memtest to run. I did have to disable fast boot and secure boot, but i cannot get the memtest to run. I have tried from the uefi firmware settings by promoting usb boot to priority 1, but this has not helped. I also tried to boot from the advanced startup settings, but this didn't work either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I was wondering if this means i need to replace the extra ram sticks for sure, due to the fact that my computer ran fine with the factory default sticks.
