Any ideas as to what could have caused the driver crash and the following PC freeze? I restored to the restore point prior to the driver move, since the PC did seem all over the place. Left on sleep for the day, will see if it crashes once i get home from work.

I can't tell what could have caused the driver and system freeze to crash as I don't know what happened behind UI.

If you are still getting BSOD's, please run the tool again and upload the zip file.
If you are not getting BSOD's, please mark this thread as solved.
The BSOD section is not for system freezes and driver crashes.

Right, I had one BSOD prior to the system restore yesterday, I have the error message saved at home so I'll upload that once I get back, will also have a look if there was a crash today. I'm guessing there is a forum section on driver crashes?

Most likely it is Drivers and Hardware.
I am not too sure, because I am just a member for a few months on these forums.

Right so the PC crashed during the day and booted in safe mode, I didn't even know it could do that without you going into safe mode. Yesterdays Error message prior to the reset was KMode_Exception_Not_Handled and I attached the latest log. Everything on the PC is super slow compared to yesterday, this is so demoralizing.

Creating a new log, the generation of the dxdiag report seems to take ages, not sure if there's some glitch.

Some files are quite large and due to that it takes some time to create them/gather the information.

    Please try following:
    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again

If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation" after the second SFC, please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.
