Windows told me the driver installed successfully. I thought everything was finally solved until I tried to browse the Internet. Chrome is telling me I'm not connected to the internet, even though my laptop is able to connect to my wireless network. The WiFi symbol in the system tray is telling me I'm connected, but when I open Network and sharing center, it says I'm not connected to any network at all.

I'm on mobile so the best I can do is send you a link to a tweet with the images.

Have you rebooted? If you have, the driver you downloaded was for what Windows version? You may try a Win 8 version to see if it works. Also, try running the troubleshooter.

I have rebooted and have the same issue. The .zip folder had a number of different drivers for different network adapters. Although my specific network adapter isn't in the folder, the website says that the "N" series of network adapters, which I have, are supported by the drivers. The question is, which driver do I install? I first had windows search automatically for driver software and it installed whichever one it thought the most appropriate. This did not work, and I'm now trying to manually install the other network adapter drivers listed, but none seem to be working.

Try getting the driver from here, choose standard drivers no killer features

Thank you so much, I managed to find a page that had my network adapter specifically supported. My internet connection is now working, and HOPEFULLY no more BDODs. Thanks again.
