It is better to keep an eye on the temperature constantly in case of overheating.

yeah, not gonna let it run freely.

Hey, i just noticed: while installing the VGA driver for onboard graphics, i get an error that my system doesnt meet the requirements... could it be (altough i got an extern graphiccard) that that causes trouble?

That could cause trouble yes, if the error message is right.

You built your pc, the company hasn't checked if the other parts are compatible with it.
You need to check it yourself to be sure.

I cannot answer a lot of such questions as I don't know the answers. If I had to guess, then it would be a yes: the first it finds.

You'll need to search it yourself for a good answer, or ask it at the Drivers and Hardware section

What software did you install from SlimWare?

    Hello Again!

well, i formatted my harddrives, reinstalled all drivers and no other software, went to XCOM and it chrashed again.

BUT then i checked my BIOS Version and it was 1.40 while the latest version is 1.90. So i downloaded it, flashed the later version and since yesterday evening i had zero crashes.

The BIOS update fixed the problem!!! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!
