Still no BSOD, however..... I played ARK today, one of the games the would guarantee a BSOD 124, and many time through out the game, the entire system would freeze for about a second and then it would be fine. This happened about every 10 minutes, and when it would happen, I would get the feeling it was going to BSOD, because that's exactly how it would happen on the old card, freeze for a second and then BSOD. When I finally quit the game, I noticed an error, I took a screen shot of it....

I also looked at my event viewer, and its' bad, very bad, tons of red and yellow errors warnings and critical. How can I get my event logs to you? Is my new windows install ok?

The event logs are copied to the zip when running the DM log collector

There is nothing that I would be worried about if it was on my system, I have looked back for 2 days.

I don't know what you saw, but if you are very concerned please save the events of what you saw and upload it here.
If you upload a file from the events, please note that you need a 3rd party uploader if you don't save it as a text file with max size of 1MB.

Approaching the dreaded one week mark..... this is about the time my computer throws a fit. However, Still BSOD free for 7 days. I will keep the thread updated.

Also, that 1/2 second freeze issue I described a few posts back, that seems to be only a issue within the game ARK. Lots of people on steam experience it and say its the normal. That screenshot that I posted however, I don't know what that means.

Your screenshot shows memory addresses that the code functions of the game have been accessed with accessed files by those functions when the game crashes, but more I can't add and I don't know if what I think is even correct.

    Update

After changing the AMD 7950 to a GTX 970, I am still BSOD 124 free! Computer has been running great. Not sure if my problem is solved or not... I still haven't put back in the other 8 gigs of RAM due to the fact that they have different IC....

It just bsod uncorrectable hardware error124 while playing Dying Light! I don't know what to say...... I can't believe it.

I have a Ducky Shine Keyboard, so all the keys light up. I purchased this keyboard to replace a Logitech G710+ Gaming keyboard a couple years ago because I wanted to eliminate the keyboard as the faulting device for the BSOD 124. However, ever since I reinstalled windows a couple weeks ago, my keyboard now lights up if a button on the keyboard is accidently pressed while the computer is off, shutdown, not sleeping. The keyboard just lights up, the computer remains off, all the LED's on the case and fans are off, but if any key is pressed while the computer is shutdown, all the keys light up. The only way to turn them off is to either pull the USB cable from the keyboard to the motherboard, or turn on my computer and then shut it down again. It's also worth noting that any setting within BIOS that would wake the computer from sleep if the mouse or keyboard is moved or pressed is disabled. Why would this be happening now, and is this related to my BSOD 124?
