Random black screen and restart, bugcheck 0x0000116 in event viewer

    that's always a possibility, but why wait until windows 10 to fail? never, ever had that issue on win7.

    Not got access to anyone with a dedicated GPU unfortunately, I'll see how this goes anyway, it's not crashed since updating the BIOS, fingers crossed.

    I may have just had an idea of why it keeps crashing, whenever it crashes, it's either when I'm watching a video online (YouTube etc....) or playing a game using a pad, so there's no direct input from the keyboard or mouse, is it possible that the screensaver or monitor switch off is causing it to crash and it can't recover, it's just went blank and managed to recover as I wasn't listening to something online or anything, so I'm thinking it might be that, it's reminiscent of that action (black screen when monitor goes into power saving), I've just turned it off just to be on the safe side.

    sigh, it crashed about 20 minutes ago and got stuck in a reboot loop, sounds like it's similar to other peoples experience with TDR
