How do you tell if the contact modules are clean, and how do you clean them if they are dirty? Is this something I should ask in one of the other sections?

If there is no dust or something on the contacts it is clean.
A good way to clean them would be with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.

This post is a good post for cleaning the slots.

So last night once i realized that the difference in frequency wasn't the issue, I figured I may as well try changing the voltage of the RAM in the BIOS since the motherboard was running the ram at 1.5V even though the RAM should run at 1.65V, so I changed the voltage of the ram to 1.640V. I probably should have done that back when I first built the computer, but that was a long time ago and I didn't know what a "BIOS" was. Anyway, so I set the higher voltage, lowered the ram frequency to something supported by my old Intel 950 processor, and then I ran Memtest86. It's done 16 passes with no errors, so I think I fixed it....

Also, I did check the RAM and it seems to be clean

    Thank you for you help

    Are you still getting bluescreens?
If so, please run the DM Log Collector tool again and upload the zip file.

Please remove Gigabyte, it is well known for causing BSOD's.

The Avira drivers have been flagged, please uninstall Avira and use Windows Defender as alternative.
    Code:
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for avgntflt.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for avgntflt.sys

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for avipbb.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for avipbb.sys
    Please disable driver verifier
    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Enter "verifier/reset" (without quotes)
