Do you have a driver disk for your laptop?
If you have it, run it and see what software it could install.
I recommend to remove every ASUS software except for the software that is on the driver disk, or everything if you don't need the software from the driver disk.

ATK Package and ASUS Smart Gesture are software for the touchpad, hotkey (fn functionality) and some other functionality, you likely can install them from the driver disk.

No driver disk came with my laptop. Also with regards to the driver I was to update, its from a program I no longer use and uninstalled a while ago, how would I go about removing the driver altogether?

Redownloaded and reinstalled the program. There was an option to uninstall the program and the drivers included so I used that option, should no longer be a problem. Thanks.

Will do. Are the Asus programs that are in the screenshot safe to keep?

I can't say for sure, you would need a driver disk that the manufacturer should provide you to confirm, but I think it is.

I however would remove WinFlash, a program used for updating the BIOS. It is like with drivers, best to do the install procedure manually.

Thanks for the help so far, I'll monitor how everything runs and tell you if the issue is fixed. as of right now I saw the screen glitches a few times again but very minor, plus there haven't been any BSODs so that's a huge plus. Also, like the NVidia driver that "stopped responding and successfully recovered", ive been getting that for my Windows Intel HD driver, but the message that pops up states that the driver I have is for Windows 8. I have the latest driver installed for this to my knowledge, but I'm not sure why this happens, there isn't much reason to it from how randomly its been popping up. It usually happens right after the screen freezes for a moment. Not a huge issue or anything, just something I thought worth mentioning.

Hey, did some heavy playtests this week, no more BSODs (yay!), but still getting the pixelated marks on screen, but only in very few games and not at all in others. Thanks for the help!
