It's 3:07 AM here and I'm heading to bed.

If you're able to post a share link in the next ten minutes I'll respond with new instructions.

If you're unable to post a share link in the next ten minutes I'll check the thread in about 6 - 8 hours.

Just to confirm - when you say "post a share link" for the cmd output, that just means to copy and paste the cmd output into a reply on this thread similar to what I did before, correct? Or do you mean to run the V2 again?

For share links please use one of the free options: one drive, drop box, or google drive

If there is no immediate BSOD > post a verifier /querysetting results share link

If there is a BSOD > post a V2 results share link

There was a blue screen after running WDV with only those settings in your last comment for non-Microsoft drivers. I restarted the PC. It tried to diagnose the PC during the post screen, which took me to a blue screen that let me backup to a system restore point. I did this, then rebooted and it seemed to get stuck on the post screen, so I rebooted again and this time it was fine. Here is the link for the V2 (this time it was over 2MB): DESKTOP-UK88SFT-(2024-02-05_17-24-21).zip - Google Drive

Uninstall vdvad.sys / Steam software > make a new restore point > restart WDV with the same customized test settings

Create System Restore Point in Windows 10

    Code:
    vdvad_waveextensible	Virtual Desktop Audio	c:\windows\system32\drivers\vdvad.sys

    Code:
    Name	Virtual Desktop Audio
    Manufacturer	Virtual Desktop, Inc.
    Status	OK
    PNP Device ID	ROOT\MEDIA\0000
    Driver	C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\VDVAD.SYS (1.6.1.0, 43.88 KB (44,936 bytes), 11/10/2022 1:26 AM)

Ok I uninstalled the software, created a new restore point, then did the WDV. It gave a blue screen and the stop code was DRIVER VERIFIER DETECTED VIOLATION and the "What Failed" said vdvad.sys. This is strange because after I uninstalled the software, I made sure that the vdvad.sys file no longer existed in my entire Steam folder. I rebooted, then another blue screen happened. This time it gave the same stop code but it didn't show the "What Failed" line. I then restored to my last system restore point. I also ran another V2: DESKTOP-UK88SFT-(2024-02-05_18-33-33).zip - Google Drive
