    BSOD playing Dayz Mod VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE


    While playing Arma 2OA Dayz Mod, my screen flickered gray/black for a few seconds, then I was met with a blue screen prompting me of the error in the thread title. Since then my Nvidia GPU has not been detected by my computer. Did my graphics card just break?

    Welcome to the 10forums.

    Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
    The zip is empty of dump files.
    Please make sure your pc is configured for small dump files How to configure minidump | Windows 10 tutorial

    Please fill in your system specs
    Please go to this site and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely.

    thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I factory reset my computer before posting this thread in an effort to correct the issue. Is that why there are no dump files?

    Yes, the factory reset deletes everything so you can start from scratch.

    No need for, or you get a new bluescreen (which I hope you don't)
