Absolutely.. a clean install on a spare disk..

If that's ok, then consider e.g.
[Solved] Kernel Power 41 Critical Error on Windows 11/10 - Driver Easy

    given your error message.

When you are running your original O/S again:
Your specs say you're running 1809, but I think it's at least 19042.
Please run winver and advise build number as the forum asked.
Boot to Safe Mode and advise if your system seems stable.

History: when did this start happening?
What happened that might have led to this?

You appear to have some System Restore points from August- might be useful if before this started.

    Thank you for your reply.

A clean boot is almost certainly not relevant here, and not what I suggested. It does not give you a situation where your PC is running independently of your installed O/S.

Your objective is to boot WITHOUT using your installed O/S.

Do you know what a live boot disk is? (Google will help you..).
So I installed W10 on a different disk and booted off that (removed the old OS disk just to make sure). Created a new local W10 account and started watching a YouTube video. About 10 min in it rebooted in the same fashion

Event viewer indicated the same kernel power error

Looks like not an OS issue - what are the next steps?

That would seem to be the first suspect.
Testing PSU for stability? | Tom's Hardware Forum
(But if the problem is a momentary glitch in power level rather than an overall voltage change, that won't help).

Looking elsewhere and by way of routine checks:
It seems you have 4 hard disks installed. Whilst your PC may not stay up for long enough to do a RAM check, you should be able to check those. Get a copy of Hard Disk Sentinel (portable version available) and run that. Instant result right on its GUI for each disk. Green is good, SSDs covered too.

RAM- do you have multiple sticks? You could try running with just one in turn.

I will test for PSU stability as indicated

I only have 1 SSD and one DVD-RW drive installed. The system crashed when I swapped the SSD with a HDD/new W10 install so do not think it is that

Re RAM, I have run >24h MemTest86 on individual sticks in individual RAM slots, and then both sticks together -- >20 passes without errors

Your power supply is 11 years old and a no name brand, and only 400w.

Power supplies wear out, the efficiency goes down over time. Even high end ones.

Replace the power supply and test. Keep your receipt on the odd chance yours is ok, but if i was a betting man......
