    BSOD pointing to ntoskrnl.exe

    SPECS:
    R5 3600
MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC
    MSI RTX 2070 ARMOR
TEAMGROUP TFORCE DARK ZA 16GB DDR4
    Windows 10 Version 20H2 OS Build 19042.685
    GDRIVE for minidump files

    Attachment 311400

Playing games, landing on the desktop screen, browsing, and using file explorer would cause the issue to crash. Not consistent crashes but almost daily crashes. There are days that my computer won't crash, however I managed to compile five different crashes that can help me diagnose this problem. The thing is I don't know how to diagnose or resolve this. If you have any suggestions or solutions for my problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Update NVIDIA Graphics driver - GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 460.97 | NVIDIA
Update AMD chipset driver - https://www.amd.com/en/support/chips...ocket-am4/b450
Also test the memtest86 RAM - MemTest86+ - Test RAM

    Hello Cris1,

For future reference please note that you do not need to separately provide the dump files - they are automatically included in the files collected by the log collector.

I have lost count of the number of times I have seen BSOD issues with this combination of CPU and motherboard. I do wonder if there is something in the motherboard utilities or BIOS that require the OMs to provide updates.

Please try all the updates mentioned by MrPepka and it will not hurt to run diagnostic checks on the RAM because 2 of the dumps indicate memory corruption.

    Run:

Tuneup.bat - Click here to go to the BSOD batch repository to download and run this batch file.

    Run Crystal Disk standard edition:
    CrystalDiskInfo – Crystal Dew World

After running MemTest86 for just one pass,
    Attachment 311540

Is it safe to say that it's a memory problem? Just bought this memory too, that's unfortunate.

EDIT: Has not crashed after installing latest update of GPU drivers and Chipsets provided in the thread. However, the memory problem may be the root cause of this.

Just now crashed without BSOD or anything. Just straight turned off and never got back up. Needed to restart using case buttons.

View the motherboard manual to see if there is a preferred DIMM when using only one RAM module.
    Remove both RAM modules.
Test one RAM module at a time in the same DIMM for 8 or more passes.
Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.

Once you've differentiated the good from the malfunctioning RAM module you can use the good module.
With a Return Merchandise Authoriztion (RMA) you can return both modules.

With the good module please complete the steps in post #4.

Update, the problem has been resolved. Turns out it was a factory defective RAM, I already replaced it with a new one and no crashes so far. Thanks for all the help, Merry Christmas to everyone
