Clock_Watchdog_Timeout during video encoding

    Turns out the problem was a "TPU" switch on my motherboard that was switched on for some reason which is supposed to turn on some sort of automatic overclocking. My cpu couldn't handle it hence the bsod's.

    Please download and install:

    a) CPU-Z
    CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID

    b) HWINF64
    Free Download HWiNFO Sofware | Installer & Portable for Windows, DOS


    For CPU-Z make screenshots of the following tabs
    CPU
    Mainboard
    Memory
    SPD*
    Graphics

    *SPD shows the details of each stick, you can show the details by choosing different slots in the left upper corner.
    Please make screenshots of each stick.



    Please post screen shots with TPU:
    a) off
    b) on
    c) on followed by a BIOS reset

    I already did the tests yesterday with prime95 and speccy. With TPU on bsod after 2-3 minutes with temperatures around 75-80c. Clock speed was 4.5GHz. I have a custom cooler but even then the whole case was sizzling hot. With TPU off I stopped the test after half an hour. Temperatures were around 55c with speed at stock 3.4GHz.

    When the log collector was ran it displayed: CurrentClockSpeed : 3401

    Wasn't that before TPU switch findings?

    There is little if any info on the web on TPU and BSOD.
    If possible please post images of cpuz and hwinfo with off, on, and BIOS reset.
