Reinstalled Malwarebytes, computer crashed, on auto restart, PC diagnosed and attempted repair, could not repair, continued to auto restart.
Opened live mail 3 times, no problem.
Opened Malwarebytes, message: unable to connect to service, closed and re-opened - same result.
Shutdown and restarted computer, opened live mail 3 times, no problems.
Tried to open Malwarebytes again, message: unable to connect to service

As McAfee is your main av, for now it might be best to use Malwarebytes Free.

It has been said that some AV's don't play well together.

If you have been using McAfee and you have not had issue could I ask why the need for Malwarebytes?

Uninstalled the free trial, installed the free version, the free version immediately updates to the free trial, I had to switch off the Premium options to be able to only use the free version manually.
    Ken,
I have used both McAfee and Malwarebytes manually for years, it used to be recommended to run Malwarebytes occasionally to check your antivirus program was not missing anything. I have not forgotten about changing from live mail to possibly Thunderbird.
