    Hi tofmin,

Because I want to give credit where it is due, first let me say Thank You.

Can you post your reply on my Thread?

Want to Uninstall Microsoft Email App.

Because both your links look exactly the same when shortened, can you label each link like this.

    **********************************************************************************************

Remove Default Apps from Windows 10
    https://thomas.vanhoutte.be/miniblog...ndows-10-apps/

Reinstall Default Built-in Apps in Windows 10
    https://thomas.vanhoutte.be/miniblog...ndows-10-apps/

    ***********************************************************************************************

Anyway I want you to post this on my other thread so I can mark it as the answer.
I opened a new thread because I was not sure anyone would find my question at the bottom of this thread.

Open Mail app > Settings > Accounts > Choose any account > Change mailbox sync settings > Choose any time in the "Download email from" dropdown list.

    Sure, no problem

PS. I don't uninstall anything yet. I'll wait for MS update. Maybe they fix this.

Sounds like great advice, I hope they fix these email problems.

Ok. What about settings in Notifications? All look good there?

Do you sign into your PC/device with MS account or have local account?

I see you have Norton Security Suite and assume using Norton firewall. If so, does it give it permission?

Notifications look just like yours look.

    MS account to sign-in.

Norton Firewall was never a problem before. I will check the Norton Forum.

    **************************************************************************************************** *************
I have 5 different email accounts in my mail app, from3 different services (Comcast, gmail & outlook).
Right now to get my email I must open each account and click sync at the top of the app. If it was a Firewall problem why would sync bypass the Firewall?

I am going to wait for an update. After that I will uninstall and reinstall my mail app.
I have been working on this for 5 days, checked and rechecked every setting inside the app and in Settings.

Ok, David. Sounds like a good plan.

Didn't think of that about the firewall. The manual command may be an exception to the firewall rule. I see you're checking the site.

Please don't mind me. I'm just stumped as to why it works for some and not others. Trying to look for a common denominator and see none.

Is this a predominant problem that you know of? Haven't been cruising the forum lately all that much to notice.

Gmail is my main email and I have it set up in the Mail app. It's configured to use Notifications but I'm not getting anything when email arrives. Anyone else having this problem, or does notifications only work with Outlook accounts?

Can you post your Anti-Virus info? Which company and version? If you are just using Windows Defender post that.
