Hello Rachel. I too, am a non tech kind of person. After I launch the CMD window, I don“t know where to right click to select the “run as admin“option. I think I“ll get it once I figure this part out. Can you (or anyone else) please share how you got there exactly? Thank you.
Hi Nadine61, please follow the steps:
    1. do "Alt-Ctrl-Del" (the well knwown action for openinf some Windows controls).
    2. click on 'Task Management' (in french: Gestionnaire des tāches)
    3. this opens a program.
    4. In the menu bar, Choose 'FIle' -- 'Execute a new task'
    5. In the popup, enter 'CMD', and flag it as 'Administrator'
    6. this opens a black screen Popup (the very old original DOS screen).
    7. a cursor is blinking.
Type there the command " SFC /scannow " (respecting the space and the bar).
    8. this program is running for some minutes.
This programs is correcting some errors (I don't care which errors).

    9. when finished, simply clixk on the cross (X) in the top right corner of the DOS screen.
    10. you can also stop the 'Task Management' screen, (cross (X) in the top right corner)

This solution has been proposed for solving the issue in Outhook, that could no longer sent the emails.
    Therefore:
11 go back to Outlook, and try to send a mail.
    "normally", it should be sent.
    It has worked for me.

    Thanks

Thank you so very much for the detailed response to my inquiry! I do so appreciate the time and the effort that you took to do so! I did try that and it didn“t work. I decided to delete and reinstall my Office 2013, and after a long series of fortunate events i found out that for $11.00 I could buy the OFFICE 2016 through my employer!! Once i installed the OFFICE 2016 the problem resolved!! Thanks again! Cheers
