I have a favorite link that goes directly to my printers ip address. When I click on the link I get a stackoverfow condition in MS Edge

I can go to it in Firefox or Google Chrome, but not in MS Edge.

Can you attach a screenshot of the error message? What printer model do you have?

HP Officejet Pro 8740. The error message is actually in the search bar, trying to recreate, but now google just crashes and MS Edge prompts to recover google page.

Found a workaround. Since it is an ip address I had to add it to internet options, security, local intranet, sites, advanced. Here I was able to add it to the list and now I can access the site with MS Edge.
