So the browser is called Edge in Build 10158, but the Favorites Bar still has issues, at least for me. I imported my favorites from Chrome. I had more favorites than the bar could hold so it created a drop down for the over flow. But I can't move any of those icons up. When it did the import it loaded in reverse alphabetical order. I had to delete icons to get the overflow up on the line where I can move them.

I haven't rebooted yet so it will be interesting if all the icons stay in the same position.

This version is better but still needs more polish. I'll probably stay with Chrome as my default browser.
Ditto here but imported from Internet Explorer. Edge is still not performing (feature-wise) to the extent that it would be my default browser.

    Yep, favorites is still stuffed.

Another issue, here, is that Edge closes/crashes if you drag the icon of an open site down to the Favorites Bar. It puts up a Copy tag but everything just disappears!!

    Is this a universal event?

With the latest build and a fast tweak: https://www.tenforums.com/site-stuff/...n-browser.html Edge really works well and it's working with this site just fine!

I'd like to see the ability to put a "standard" toolbar on top, with favorites, file, tools, options, etc, ala IE/Firefox, etc..

Oh, and don't forget the favorites alpha sort.
Quite sure the alpha sort is due to Favorites storage via MS account (OneDrive) so if a favorite is added on a device it shows on all devices. MS services in other words.

    Hi there

It still has (BY DESIGN so NOT A BUG) a big irritant to anybody who uses media / internet servers that use a web interface where you use a localhost or local network IP address. (Localhost or 127.0.0 etc or even 192.168.x.x)

I know this is by design as Edge is now a "Universal App" but a lot of people still have various applications that use a web interface for controlling / managing them.

Currently I have to keep IE as I need these web interfaces. I don't really want to mess around with a whole slew of different browsers for each app.

I understand that this is a "Security" feature -- but "security" is of no use if it locks you out of your servers !!!!

    Cheers

I thought they had removed the Internet Explorer but a Cortana Search found it and I moved it to the taskbar. I like the Edge but there are others that don't handle change well. :-(

It's new and it needs more work but so far I really like it and I'm using it right now.

No, Edge does not rock. Can't log into any web based email sites.
