    Mail App

    Would appreciate some help.

Currently, have the Mail App handling an Outlook and a gmail account, but, do not care for the Mail app.

Is there a way to have my 2 accounts showing independently, and not using the Mail App any longer.
Do not wish to get rid of either the Outlook or the gmail account, just the Mail App where they are now displayed.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sure, you could always use your browser and go directly to Outlook.com or Gmail.

Both of those services run Web sites where you can manage your mail accounts.

Otherwise, you need some sort of an email client app to obtain your mail from those services -- whether it's W10 Mail or a more traditional off-line email client app like eM Client.

I have my two accounts showing independently, it was like that by default
when I did it but MS programs act differently in different environs.

    Go to"
    Settings/Manage Accounts,
your two accounts should be showing.
On my unit there is a icon like a double chain link and the words, "Link Inboxes"
I assume that because your are already linked, yours should read something like "Unlink Inboxes"

As for a different APP, nothing I have found is a patch on "Windows Live Mail" client
but you could try "Mozilla Thunderbird" my wife uses it because "Windows Live Mail"
has been unavailable for Vista for years

    Thanks for the info, daniellouwrens.

Doubt that I will be using the MailApp any time soon. The window for reading emails was just too small for me, and caused too much strain on the eyes. Even using the Magnifier was too much of a nuisance.
