If you're familiar with and happy with Acronis TI, that's fine.. great that you're using disk imaging.. too may don't (yet).

Some pc's aren't approved by their manufacturers- netbooks are rather old and limited (I have one for travelling, and it's staying on Win 7). I found 3 small programs became incompatible when I upgraded to the AU.

With appropriate precautions, it's worth trying. One minor bug you will likely see is left justified text in explorer view with medium or large icons - I posted a workaround for that.

    Good News!

The Anniversary Update appeared yesterday morning.
Following the eventual completion, I tentatively opened my Edge browser and BINGO all is now behaving as desired.

As a browser it is much improved - so much so, that I have now selected it as my default.

Thanks to everyone for the help and advice.

Great- now you have some updates to look forward to, and the latest is said to by up to 1Gb. And for many it hangs at x% downloading. See the news item where I've posted a fix. #137

News thread is a bit cumbersome sometimes. Might want to give her link.
