    Add shortcut

How do you create a shortcut on the desktop. Example, you have a website you use often, how do you create a shortcut on the desktop. Win 7 and 8 you could right click the mouse on the page in question and had the option to add a shortcut on the desktop.

Does right click on desktop / new/shortcut... copy paste url in box/ next/ name shortcut.... something like that works for me. My guess its one of them things not working on 10061 unless you clean install a ISO

Hello Jackman, and welcome to Ten Forums.

You should be able to use any one of the same options in the tutorial below to create a shortcut of a website on your desktop. :)

Got it figured out. Had to right click right on the name of the website and then I had the option.

    Thanks all................

I looked at Spartan again and there are no Favicons. Not sure I like that as that is how I typically create links to web sites, simply drag the Favicon to the Desktop and release.

I find making a shortcut kind of confusing. If I use ie I can create the shortcut just like "old times". When I click on the shortcut, Spartan opens and says "internet explorer needed" and on the same page you can click to "automatically open with ie". That works, but when you close out that website, Spartan is in the background and you then have to close that also. Seems like a waste of time.
